Catherine Wheatley
is Senior Lecturer in Film Studies at King’s College London. She is a member of the editorial board of Film-Philosophy and the author of Michael Haneke’s Cinema: The Ethic of the Image (Berghahn, 2009) and Caché (Hidden) (BFI/Palgrave MacMillan, 2011), co-author with Lucy Mazdon of French Film in Britain: Sex, Art and Cinephilia (Berghahn, 2013) and co-editor with Mazdon of Je t’aime, moi non plus: Franco-British Cinematic Relations (Berghahn, 2010). Currently, she is developing a book project on the relationship between Christianity and contemporary film and film theory.


José Tolentino Mendonça is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Theology of the Catholic University of Portugal - Lisbon and Vice-Rector of the Catholic University of Portugal. A Straus Fellow at NYU between 2011 and 2012, he is the director of CITER - Research Center for Theology and Religion Studies and the author of many books of poetry as well as theological writings. Two of these writings have been translated into English: Hidden Treasure: The Art of Searching Within (Alba House, 2014) and No Journey Will be Too Long: Friendship in Christian Life (Palest Press, 2015).
